We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Korean/English Medical Interpreter to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and at least 1 year of experience in medical interpretation.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide accurate and professional Korean/English interpretation services in medical settings, primarily via Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI)
-Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology and adhere to industry best practices
-Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information, in accordance with HIPAA regulations
-Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our interpretation services
-Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with industry trends and best practices
Requirements:
-At least 1 year of experience in medical interpretation, specifically in Korean/English language pair
-Strong knowledge of medical terminology in both Korean and English
-Proficient in Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) techniques
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
-Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
-Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (preferred)
-Certification from an accredited interpreter training program (preferred)
