I seek a Special Education Teacher for the 2023-24 school year. This is a full-time contracted position with the opportunity to extend.
What you will do:
Provide specialized academic instruction to students with IEPs in both the learning center setting and general classroom.
Supervise and direct paraeducators in the lesson facilitation process.
Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders, including teachers, students, parents, and administration.
Manage a caseload as the IEP case manager in multiple grade-level settings.
Experience in teaching various grades from TK through 6th.
What you will need:
Degree and certification in special education or related field.
Prior experience as an Education Specialist working with students with IEPs.
Experience supervising and directing paraeducators.
Strong communication skills for maintaining regular communication with all stakeholders.
Experience managing a caseload as an IEP case manager in various grade-level settings.
