Liberty Emergency Care Collaborative is seeking volunteers who believe that robust partnership and collaboration is essential to creating meaningful, lasting, positive change as we contribute towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 3: “Ensure healthy lives and promote wellbeing for all at all ages.
Volunteers are welcome to join our team of Online Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Ambassadors by spreading the word about our work with your network and community to support our fundraising efforts. Being an Online Peer-to-Peer Ambassador is an opportunity to get involved in our latest project by supporting an important cause: Delivering Emergency Medical Care/transport and Emergency First Response (EFR) Training in Low-Resource Communities in Kampala. LECC seeks to establish an adequate capacity to deliver health care on site and transport patients to definitive care as well as develop and deliver EFR instructional courses through local public/private partnerships.
The ideal Peer-to-Peer Ambassadors Digital Ambassador will be credible, informed, genuinely invested in supporting our cause, and eager to educate their network about the project. As an ambassador, you will be provided with all the assets (social media content, messaging templates, etc.) and support you need to spread the word about the project to your network and fundraise on platforms that will be agreed upon as a team.
Requirements
-A passion for development work in low-resource settings and social justice backed up by a good understanding of LECC’s mission, vision, values, and services.
-An eagerness to use digital platforms and/or social network to advance social causes that are important to you.
-Leadership skills and a keen interest in networking and building relationships online.
-A presence on at least one major social media platform is an asset, but not required if you prefer to reach out to your network via email, face to face, or otherwise.
