This opportunity is with the Modern School of Music in Otago. We will support you with training in the unique style of teaching NZMSM has become renowned for, and will provide resources and pupils. Multiple styles of music are taught, and students are encouraged to develop their own interpretations of musical pieces and improvise. All pupils can enter competitions and sit music exams if they wish, or just learn for the enjoyment of playing an instrument. Enjoy the satisfaction of watching your students grow and improve their musical talents under your guidance.
This opportunity will suit someone willing to be independent and self-employed. Applicants will need to be a competent pianist or guitarist and have a confident knowledge of music theory. Ongoing support and professional development are available for suitable candidates.
