Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain database systems to support our business operations and applications.
Perform database tuning and optimization to ensure optimal performance and efficient use of system resources.
Monitor database systems regularly, identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, and implement proactive measures for system stability.
Implement and enforce security measures to protect the integrity and confidentiality of our data.
Backup and restore databases, perform disaster recovery planning, and conduct regular data backups.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) or similar role.
Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) and database concepts.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with database programming languages.
Experience with database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with database security best practices and data backup/recovery procedures.
